Who I am

Hi! I’m Cath Kelly!

An ICF certified teen life coach and ADHD executive function coach, I have worked with students as a coach, teacher and leader for 25 years. Unlocking student happiness and success is what I love to do!

The teenage years can be troubled times, so I’m here for your teen:

  • In their corner, getting curious with them about their challenges and barriers to success.
  • Collaborating with them to help them acquire the “keys” they need to grow as a successful student.
  • Cheering them on as they progress, step-by-step, towards their goals.
  • Being their greatest advocate -bar yourself, of course -whilst coaching them to be their own greatest advocate!

If your teen has ADHD

or shows signs of neurodivergence, I am here to offer individualised coaching – with care and compassion – to meet their specific needs.

A parent to two wonderful teens with ADHD, I am a passionate advocate for the needs of all neurodiverse young people. I have learnt the most effective ways to help and support our young ADHDers as a coach and educator. I know from first hand experience about the parental challenges ADHD can bring to your family, so I’m here to support you, as parents, too.

Coaching opportunities

All my teen coaching for success is evidence-based, rooted in behavioural science, neuroscience, positive psychology and education.

If you’re worried your teen is stressed-out or has low self-confidence

Life coaching guides teens towards discovering their values, strengths, passions and dreams, as well as understanding their own needs. It helps teens to reframe negative self-talk, manage stress & grow in confidence & resilience.

Cath is a calm presence and very easy to talk to meaning I felt I could be honest and act like myself. She was very good at helping me talk through my goals and discern what personal difficulties I would need to work through in order to achieve them. She knows about a lot of resources which she encouraged me to use between sessions. Now I have a clearer sense of direction and what I’m looking for going forwards into my career. I’m extremely glad I decided to look to her for coaching.

You are such a positive person. You are always there to listen and you always helped me feel so much more positive if I felt something hadn’t gone right. Whenever there is negativity you always seem to help me put everything into perspective and help it all seem positive again : ) All the motivation before the exams from you really helped me to go in with a more positive outlook/mindset. Thank you!

Thank you to Cath for being so brilliant. You have excellent listening skills, and are warm and easy to talk to.  It’s great to have someone who understands the [ADHD assessment] process and what you are going through as a parent.  It has been a very positive experience.

READY to FIND OUT MORE?

During this consultation, we will discuss your teen, and what prompted you to inquire about coaching. I will explain how my coaching can help them achieve their goals, and the goals you have for them, and you can ask me any questions you may have.

Towards the end of our call (or in a follow-up) I will talk with your teen to gain their input and to see if we are a good fit. If your child is now a young adult, the initial consultation will be held directly with them.
